Plainedge Earns 8U Summer Slam Championship
What started out as a simple Championship game, turned out to become a thrilling series for the Plainedge Red Devils A squad as the faced the 8U Pool Play winner, Seaford Vikings. The original Championship game saw Seaford rallying to tie the game 3-3 in the bottom of the 6th inning, only for the game to be called on darkness at the end of the 7th.
Seaford Looks to Advance With Third Win Over Plainview
The 8U Seaford Vikings, who were 4-1 in pool play, look to take their #1 seed to the 8U Plainview Blue Hawks. The teams are very familiar with each other, with Seaford defeating Plainview twice, 7-5 on opening weekend and ina 1-0 thriller last weekend.
The 1st round playoff game is Wednesday night July 26th, 5:30pm at Plainview Pool.
Seaford Rallies Back 2nd Straight Game to Defeat Plainview Blue

After spotting the Blue Hawks a 5-0 lead, the steady pitching of the Seaford Vikings resulted in another come from behind victory in their defeat of Plainview in a battle of 8U A bracket teams at Haypath Sunday.
Red Devils Overpower Plainview Grey

The Red Devils came into Haypath on Sunday with solid bats and good pitching to spoil the debut game of the host team, Plainview Grey, winning 6-1 despite Grey jumping out to an early 1-0 lead.
9U Battle Sees East Meadow Get By Bethpage Cyclones
IN the first inning East Meadow scores three runs to the Cyclones two to stay ahead in a battle of crosstown rivals in the 9U opener. Pitching dominated in a well played game.

Seaford Rallies to Take 8U Opener over Plainedge
In the 8U Opening game at Haypath, visitor Seaford rallied in the 6th to get three runs to pull ahead of Plainedge. The Seaford relief pitching and solid defense held Plainedge at bay in the bottom of the 6th for the victory.

Plainview Baseball Announces 2011 Summer Slam Tournament
Plainview Baseball is proud to announce the return of Tournament Play to the Long Island Baseball Community. We will host the 2011 Plainview Baseball Summer Slam for 8U and 9U teams.
The majority of the games will be held at the newly refurbished fields at the Haypath Sports Complex in Old Bethpage, with some playoff games being held at the Plainview Pool Complex on the lighted Little League field.
