Last weekend the 10U Blue boys and their families made the trek to the Delaware Shores to the Sports at the Beach complex just outside of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

The weekend included family dinners, trips to the beach and the boardwalk, a hotel pool party, and even a visit to a local creamery for fresh ice cream.

There was baseball too!! On day One doubleheader victories against Team Conneticuit Baseball and Upper Perkiomen Indians, both in dramatic walk-off fashion, set the Hawks up well. On Day Two a loss against the eventual champion Lehigh Valley Thunder was rebounded with a decisive win against the Garden City Fire, all setting up the Day Three Playoff action in the Championship Group.

On Sunday, an early game against Team Connecticut yielded quick success setting up a semi-final match up against the Hauppague Eagles. The Eagles jumped out to a 7-0 lead, but our guys never gave up and stormed back to make the score 7-6, but ran out of time to continue the comeback.
