The 8U Hawks played East Meadow, in front of the home town fans, for their 5^th win, 15-1.

The Hawks were very patient at the plate collecting 19 walks.

Each of the boys reached base and drove in or scored a run.

William P lead the way with 3 runs "batted" in and Mike B scored 3 times, while scorching 2 singles.

William P, Zack H and Mike B held East Meadow to one run over 5 innings.

The defense played well again, turning an inning ending double play in the top of the 2^nd.  Luke B, playing 3^rd, caught a pop up and flipped to Daniel D, playing 1^st. Catching a snoozing base runner off the bag, to complete the double play.  5-3 DP for those scoring at home.

The win brings the Hawks record back over .500 at 5-4.

Thursday night, the Hawks are off to Syosset to continue their winning ways.
