The Hawks tonight, while missing two key bats from the lineup used every available resource in beating Ozone Park / Howard Beach in the South Shore Tournament Semi-Finals tonight.

The game won in dramatic fashion by a RBI single by Alex W. that gave the Hawks the go-ahead run in the Top 7th, with a steal of home by Nick F. adding another.

The Hawks went up 7-3 earlier in the game only to watch the lead disappear in the bottom of the 6th. A key play by Ryan S. in centerfield held off a runner on a possible Sac Fly only to watch the balance of the order retired by Nick F. who came in relief of Dylan M. who pitched several strong innings.

The Hawks play for the Championship at Wright's Field in Oceanside this Wednesday (8/11) at 6pm.
