8U Hawks…Last Game…Best Win…SHUTOUT!
The Hawks hosted their last game of the season at the Plainview Pool Field on Saturday morning against Syosset.
Pitching dominated with Tyler B, Zack H and Will P combining to pitch 6 shutout innings and striking out 11 batters. Leading the Hawks to their 8th win of the season.
8U Hawks Play Their Best Game of the Season
The 8U Hawks headed west to visit Hicksville on Tuesday night to keep their winning streak alive.
Zack H, Will P and Joe S pitched well for the Hawks striking out 10 batters.
8U Hawks Win Again
The 8U Hawks hosted Syosset on Monday night to start their final week of the season.
The boys put their most runs on the board this season, on their way to a 17-4 victory. Including scoring 15 runs in the last three innings.
8U Hawks Bounce Back with a Win
The 8U Hawks visited Hicksville on Monday night to end their two game losing streak.
The boys scored in every inning of the four inning game, in route to the 16-4 victory.
Another Game…Another Chance…to Have Fun
The 8U Hawks hosted the North Bellmore North Merrick Rebels on Saturday, to try and even up the season series.
Unfortunately, the Rebels scored early and often, on their way to a 12-2 win.
8U Hawks...Fighters to the End
The 8U Hawks traveled North, via the SOB, to play a much improved Syosset squad.
The Hawks’ bats were silent for most of the game, but the boys never gave up.
8U Hawks Bounce Back with a BIG Win
The 8U Hawks played East Meadow, in front of the home town fans, for their 5th win, 15-1.
The Hawks were very patient at the plate collecting 19 walks.
Each of the boys reached base and drove in or scored a run.
8UHawks Play Well, but Lose a Tough One
The 8U Hawks had another away game, this time against the North Merrick North Bellmore Rebels.
All the boys played well, but the Rebels scored all their runs in the 2nd inning, on their way to a 5-1 victory.
That's 3 in a Row for the 8U Hawks
The 8U Hawks traveled to play Central Nassau and won their third game in a row, 8-5.
All the boys played an important part in the win, whether it was on defense or at the bat.
8U Hawks bring their record to 3-3
Playing in front of their hometown fans, for the first of four games in seven days, the 8U Hawks were able to win back to back games for the first time this summer.
Again, every boy on the team contributed to the victory.
