 Organization

 The Plainview Baseball Association consists of a Board of Directors. 

The Board of Directors meets every month at the Haypath Community Center in order to manage and organize the activities and programs of the Plainview Baseball Associations. During the baseball season, the Board of Directors is augmented by approximately fifty umpires and over one hundred fifty volunteer managers and coaches.  The Plainview Baseball Association has an average annual registration that exceeds one thousand children playing on over seventy five (75) intramural teams and various travel and summer tournament teams.

The Plainview Baseball Association consists of the following divisions:

NON-COMPETITIVE DIVISIONS

1. Boys/Girls Tee Ball Division        [Kindergarten ]

2. Boys Clinic Division                    [First Grade ]

3. Girls Softball Clinic Division        [ First Grade]

4. Challenger Division                     [ No Age Restriction ]

LITTLE LEAGUE COMPETITIVE DIVISIONS

1. Boys Minor C Division                                       [ Second and Third Grade ]

2. Boys Minor B Division                                       [ Third and Fourth Grade ]

3. Boys Minor A Division                                       [Fourth and Fifth Grade]

4. Boys Majors Division                                        [ Fifth, Sixth and Seventh Grade ]

5. Girls Softball  Minors                                          [ Second, Third and Fourth Grade]

Please note the following with respect to the divisions listed above:

1. Unless otherwise indicated all age requirements are based upon the Little League year which runs from August 1 thru July 31. The younger divisions (T-Ball, and Clinic) are based on grades (Kindergarten and first grade).

2. Players in the Girls Softball Divisions will also be placed by school grade as well as age.

3. A player in the Majors Division who is only ten (10) years old will not be eligible to play in the eleven (11) and twelve (12) year old Williamsport Tournament
