The Girls Rookie Division is for girls in 2nd and 3rd grades. This is a non-competitive Division. The goal is to build upon the skills that the players learned in the T-Ball and Clinic Divisions and to prepare the girls for the transition to the competitive Minors Division. The rules are modified to make the game easier and to provide a better learning experience. The focus of this Division is teaching the fundamentals. Each team is expected to practice at least once each week in addition to any games played.

A pitching machine will be used. Players will be encouraged to work on their pitching skills during practices and scrimmages.

Our pitching machine league is our new innovative program that will promise participants a quality pitch every time up. All athletes will alternate between positions every other inning. All participants receive full uniforms and trophies. All girls will be required to have a helmet with a face guard. This can be purchased from any sporting goods store.

No scores will be kept. Wins and losses will not be recorded. All players will receive participation trophies.
